This is the new national Joma Trail Team for 2026

The national trail running elite will step up with Joma in 2026 at the most important events on the calendar.

Trail running once again stands as a key pillar of Joma’s strategy for 2026. The brand officially unveils its new Joma Trail Team for the upcoming season, a project that continues its strong commitment to the discipline while combining experience, emerging talent and a clear competitive ambition.

Among the 16 team members are athletes who have already become regulars within Joma’s trail structure and whose names resonate in some of the world’s most iconic races: true trail running legends alongside athletes with strong future potential, all sharing the goal of going further and faster.

These are the elite athletes who continue with the Joma Trail Team

  • Miguel Heras continues as part of the team. Widely regarded as one of the best trail runners in the world, Heras has claimed victories in iconic races including Transgrancanaria, Transvulcania, Templiers and Ultrapirineu, and remains a benchmark figure in the discipline.

  • Gemma Arenas, bronze medallist at the 2025 Skyrunning Ultra World Championships and multiple-time Spanish champion.

  • Inés Astrain, a regular competitor in the Golden Trail Series and winner of the PDA Val d’Aran Major by UTMB.

  • Pablo Bautista, two-time EXP Val d’Aran by UTMB champion.

  • Ikram Rharsalla, Spanish representative at the European Running Championship.

  • Bel Calero, winner of the Spanish Vertical Kilometer Championship (FEDME).

  • They are joined by Spanish internationals with solid careers such as Natalia González, Mónica Vega, Guillermo Acosta, Toni Baños and Mario Mirabel.

AAll of whom bring strong results from both national and international trail circuits.

As part of the project, the Joma Trail Team will play a key role in product development and testing, pushing Joma equipment to the limit in real-world conditions and acting as ambassadors for the innovation, technology and reliability that define the brand.
