Johana Ordóñez
Johana Edelmira Ordóñez Lucero is an Ecuadorian athlete specialised in race walking in the 20 and 35 km event.
She has been practising athletics since 2002. She is affiliated to the Guayas Sports Federation, where she is recognised as one of the most outstanding sportswomen. She was part of the Ecuadorian delegation for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, where she placed 35th in the women's 20 km race. She is also the champion of the Pan American Games in Lima 2019 with a Pan American Record in the 50 km of 4:11.12.
She has achieved in the 2022 season to be 9th in the World Race Walking Championships in Oman 2022 and World Team Champion in the 35 km event. In addition to making a personal best in 20 km of 1:29:58, being the second fastest walker in the history of Ecuador, in the short race of the march.
