Club Deportivo Leganés is a Spanish football club based in the city of Leganés, the Community of Madrid. From the 2016-17 season onwards it has been competing in First Division, the highest level of Spanish football.

Founded in 1928 it failed to perform significantly until the 1990s, when it first ascended to Second Division in the 1992-93 season.
