FC Fuenlabrada

The origins of the creation of the Fuenlabrada Football Club go back to 1975. At that time there were two emblematic and representative clubs in the town, C.D. San Esteban and Agrupación Deportiva Fuenlabrada. On June 5, 1975, both teams joined together and formed what is now the Fuenlabrada Football Club. During the 19/02 season, Fuenla occupied the playoff positions of their group in the 2nd Division B throughout the second round and finally reached a leadership position that they would no longer leave. This allowed the option of promotion. Finally, in a tough play-off against the dean of Spanish football, Fuenla got their promotion to the silver category of Spanish football.
