Beatriz Costa Santos, Portuguese player, born on the 2nd of June 2003. Started playing futsal, at the age of 8, at Associação Desportiva de Alvorninha, a club from Alvorninha, Caldas da Rainha. At 15 years of age, she joins the junior team of CR Golpilheira, where at 16 years of age, she debuts in the National Championship of 1st division of Seniors Feminine, being from then on a player of the seniors and juniors. In the 2021/2022 season she is contracted by Sporting Clube de Portugal to the senior team still in her junior age, and where she participates in the junior national championship that disputed the final four, having this duality between the two levels. Since an early age, she represents the district selection of Leiria in the Interassociações, being called from this to the national under-17 selection and later making her first internationalization on the 19th of November 2019 as under-19. She also integrated several times the under-21 national team, including in the 2022 World University World Cup where she was world champion, scoring 6 goals in the competition.
