Unicaja Athletics Club
The Unicaja Athletics Club (until 2010 called Club de Atletismo Caja de Jaén) was founded in Jaén in 1979 under the name of Club Polideportivo Zeus. On 30 August 1990, on the occasion of the sponsorship of the Caja Provincial de Ahorros de Jaén, the club took on its previous name until Unicaja merged with Caja Jaén and was renamed as we know it today.
Among the most outstanding athletes who have passed through the Unicaja Club are the international athletes Manuel Pancorbo, Juan de Dios Jurado and Mario Pestano.
