FRANCESCO AGOSTINI
Francesco Agostini, born on August 29, 1997, in Losine (Brescia), represents one of the most solid and competitive figures in Italian long-distance and marathon running. Hailing from Brescia, Francesco has established himself nationally and internationally through steady growth and a remarkable ability to perform over long distances.
Francesco’s progression is the result of years of methodical training and consistent high-level performance. His development has also built strong foundations over shorter distances, as shown by his personal bests of 14:03 for 5000m, 29:17 for 10,000m, and 1:04 for the half marathon, culminating in full athletic maturity over the marathon distance.
The year 2023 marked a turning point in his career. At the Verona Marathon, he won the Italian Marathon Championship, asserting himself nationally. In the same year, he competed internationally at the Hamburg Marathon, finishing 16th overall and 3rd among European athletes, setting his personal best of 2:13 in the marathon.
