FEDERICA CARLETTI
Federica Carletti, born in Carrara on March 14, 2000, is a modern outside hitter, standing 184 cm tall, with a powerful arm and excellent work ethic. Federica has followed a sporting path that has taken her from regional championships to the most prestigious stages of the Italian top league.
Her journey began in the youth sector of Pool Piave, where she gained her first experiences in the national Serie B championships. Her rise continued in Serie A2 with important clubs such as Montecchio Maggiore and Futura Giovani.
The real turning point came with her transfer to Pinerolo. Federica was one of the key protagonists of the club’s historic promotion to Serie A1, remaining a cornerstone of the team even during their debut season in the top tier. Her ability to quickly adapt to the fast pace of A1 attracted the attention of historic clubs such as UYBA Busto Arsizio, and later she joined Megavolley Vallefoglia, her current team after a spell at Chieri.
Federica has also successfully represented Italy in the youth national teams. The highlight of her career in the national colors came in 2017, when she won gold at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF).
