Joma celebrates a historic victory at the Caja Mágica: Joma tennis player Marcell Granollers and Horacio Zeballos defeat the world No. 1s to claim the doubles crown.
#JomaPlayer and Spanish tennis icon Marcell Granollers shined once again on the clay of the Mutua Madrid Open, capturing the doubles title alongside his partner Horacio Zeballos. The duo delivered an outstanding performance, defeating the tournament’s top three teams without dropping a single set. The grand finale came with a commanding 6-4, 6-4 win over world No. 1s Marcelo Arévalo and Mate Pavić in just 75 minutes.
With this achievement, Granollers claims his 29th career title, the 11th alongside Zeballos, and lifts the Mutua Madrid Open trophy again after his previous win in 2021. It also marks their third title of the year, following victories at the ATP 250 in Bucharest and the ATP Challenger in Phoenix.
Now, Granollers returns to the Top 10 ATP doubles ranking, reaffirming his presence among the best in the world. This 2025 season holds special meaning after a delayed start due to an injury, which has not stopped the Joma athlete from returning to his peak form.
