Joma breaks into barefoot footwear by presenting its first collection at the Barefoot European Shoe Fair

From July 31 to August 3, Joma will be among more than 60 brands exhibiting at Europe’s first barefoot footwear trade fair: the Barefoot European Shoe Fair.

For the first time, Joma joins the barefoot movement and does so on the best possible stage: the Barefoot European Shoe Fair, the first European event exclusively dedicated to this type of footwear. It is currently the main platform for discovering the latest trends and technological advances in the sector. The fair will take place in Offenbach, Germany, from July 31 to August 3, where the brand will make a double debut.

On one hand, it will be Joma’s first participation in a barefoot-focused event, joining over 60 confirmed exhibitors. This is an opportunity Joma wanted to seize to make itself known in this major European showcase.

On the other hand, the fair will be the stage for presenting its new barefoot footwear collection, the first developed by the Spanish brand as it seeks to make a mark in this product category. The ambitious range includes sports and casual models for men, women, and children, and features:

  • Barefoot sneakers, designed to mimic the feeling of walking barefoot, allowing the foot to move naturally. They feature zero drop, great flexibility, and no heel counters.
  • Foot-shape footwear, designed following the natural anatomical shape of the foot, with a wider toe box that allows the toes to spread without restriction.

In short, lightness, flexibility and cutting-edge materials define this innovative line, designed to meet the demands of increasingly conscious consumers who value natural foot movement.

Why has Joma chosen the Barefoot European Shoe Fair to present its barefoot footwear collection?

The Barefoot European Shoe Fair is a key meeting point for brands, distributors, specialists, and barefoot enthusiasts. It strengthens the sector’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and health. With its participation, Joma positions itself as a key player in this evolution of footwear, expanding its catalogue with products designed for those seeking the perfect balance between natural movement, design, and quality.
