The Spanish brand will have a strong presence at the world’s most prestigious ultratrail in Chamonix, with an international team of athletes and a large commercial stand.
Joma continues to consolidate its position in international trail running with its participation in the Chamonix ultratrail, the most influential event in the sport, bringing together the world’s best trail runners and thousands of fans from more than 100 countries.
Joma’s presence in Chamonix marks a key step in its strategy to strengthen its position in top-level global trail running, while also serving as a major international showcase. Its athletes will compete in a setting that attracts worldwide media and economic attention, reinforcing the brand’s ties with the elite of the sport, which continues to grow every year.
The Joma Trail Team athletes competing in Chamonix
The Joma athletes will take part in several races of the event:
- 170 km: Miguel Heras, a trail legend and one of Spain’s top ultradistance references.
- 100 km: Leonard Mítrica, an elite runner specialized in ultras.
- 55 km: Karina Anderson, Ikram Rharsalla, Inés Astrain and Toni Baños, four strong profiles with Joma international experience and success in the most prestigious races on the calendar.
- 15 km: Mónica Vega and Andrea Rico, two young promising athletes of the Joma Trail Team.

But Joma’s presence in Chamonix goes even further. The brand will set up a large commercial stand with different branding activations. In addition to presenting its new technical trail collection and unveiling the latest innovations in footwear and apparel, the athletes will be present at the stand to showcase the products and test the footwear.
