The world’s fastest 10K once again showcases the high performance of Joma athletes.
The Valencia 10K, recognised as the fastest 10K in the world, provided the stage for an outstanding performance by Joma athletes, who once again competed at the highest international level wearing the RS-9000 racing shoes. National records, historic performances and a highly anticipated debut defined a day of elite performance for the brand.
Chiki Pérez, ranked as the fourth Spanish athlete at the Valencia 10K
The standout moment came from Chiki Pérez, who in his 100% Joma debut clocked an impressive 27:54, a time that placed him as the fourth Spanish athlete and among the 15 best Spanish performances of all time over the distance.
Among the Spanish athletes, Asier Calahorra and Pablo Bautista also delivered strong performances, both finishing in 29:09, confirming the team’s high competitive level in a demanding international context.
Outstanding performances by Joma’s international athletes
On the international side, Callum Morgan once again shone for Joma. At just 22 years old, he stopped the clock at 28:08, finishing fourth in the U23 category, setting a new Northern Ireland national record, and placing himself among the top 10 Irish all-time performances at this distance.
Another major highlight of the day came from Peter Durec, who crossed the finish line in 28:34 to set a new Slovak national record, adding another international success for the Spanish brand in one of the fastest races on the global calendar.
In the women’s race, Alondra Negro delivered a historic performance by breaking the Puerto Rico national record with 32:39, while Mari Luz Tesuri completed Joma’s participation with a time of 33:13.
