The #JomaTeam Thüringer HC is now the champion of the EHF European League 2024/25, having surpassed all expectations and defeated the tournament’s favorite team.
Thüringer HC achieved an unforgettable milestone this weekend by becoming champions of the EHF European League Women 2024/25. The German club, sponsored by Joma, emerged victorious in a thrilling final in Graz, defeating the favored Ikast Håndbold by 34:32. The #JomaTeam defied all odds and took full advantage of their early lead.
This is the first European title in Thüringer HC’s history and only the second for a German team in this competition. After 16 years without adding to their international record, THC has reestablished itself among the elite of international handball. The club also boasts seven national Bundesliga titles and three DHB Cup wins.
