MARCO FALASCHI
Marco Falaschi, born in Pisa on September 18, 1987, is one of the most experienced and tactically astute setters in the Italian Superlega. Currently leading M&G for the 2025-26 season, Marco has built a solid and cosmopolitan career, becoming a key reference not only for his technical precision but also for his leadership in some of Europe’s most competitive leagues.
Unlike many of his peers, Falaschi has chosen to test himself in top foreign leagues, achieving immediate success:
- Montenegro: With Budvanska Rivijera, he won the league-cup double, securing both the national championship and the national cup.
- Poland: In Gdańsk with Trefl Gdańsk, he lifted the Polish Cup and Supercup. His Polish journey concluded at the top with ZAKSA, one of the strongest clubs in the world.
Back in Italy, he reached the peak of his professional career in the 2020-21 season with Lube Civitanova, contributing to the victory of both the Italian Championship (Scudetto) and the Italian Cup. In the following years, he brought his experience to growing clubs such as Taranto and Padova, before joining M&G.
On the international stage, Marco debuted with the Italian National Team in 2011, becoming a valuable asset for the depth of the roster. His achievements include gold at the 2013 Mediterranean Games and bronze in the 2013 World League.
