
HANDBALL FEDERATION OF SLOVENIA
The Slovenian Handball Federation (Rokometna Zveza Slovenije, RZS) is a key organisation in the development and promotion of handball in Slovenia. Since its foundation in 1950, the RZS has been instrumental in training elite players and organising top-level competitions, establishing itself as one of the most successful sports federations in the country.
Slovenia has focused on European and international handball, among the most significant achievements being the bronze medal at the Men's Handball World Championship in 2017 and silver at the European Championship in 2004.
