Description

Men's running trainers. Tested by professional athletes who have tried the lightest shoe in the company's history. The shoe is aimed at professional runners with excellent technique, appropriate muscle work and who control their foot strike very well, making excessive cushioning or foot strike direction unnecessary.

It is recommended for series or short distances in training and long distance competition.

Joma has worked especially hard to achieve maximum ventilation via the improved VTS system. The direction of the mesh pattern achieves an internal flow of air from the toe toward the back, cooling the foot on each stride. The upper is reinforced with inserts of synthetic material, which adapt the shoes to the runner's foot, protecting it and providing stability without adding weight. This is made possible thanks to FLEXSHIELD technology.

The excellent work involved in reducing the weight of this shoe is even more evident on the tongue. This is made of a single flat piece weighing just a few grams that will go unnoticed by the runner. To enhance comfort, a very thin foam inner piece is added to secure the laces. These are flat and made of very lightweight fabric contributing to the overall ultra-lightness of the shoe.

Its midsole results in a low-profile shoe. The cushioning of the FOAM REACTIVE system absorbs each stride, enabling quick push-off while staying close to the ground and thus saving energy. Joma carried out a thorough biomechanical foot strike analysis with the kinds of professional runners for whom the R.5000 has been developed, in order to reduce the sole exclusively to the points where the sole of the foot comes into contact with the surface.

The quality of the high-density rubber of the DURABILITY system remains unchanged. Maximum durability and wear resistance.
