JOMA presents the R.3000
R.3000, the shoe with a carbon plate that increases running performance by 4%.
The biomechanical laboratory of the University of Castilla-La Mancha has certified, through a field study, that the greatest benefit of R.3000 is the increase in the runner's running efficiency due to savings in oxygen consumption. The study has identified a 4% increase in racing performance.

Increased performance, improved fatigue.
The research group identified the increase in stride length, which reduces step frequency: a runner needs fewer steps to complete the same distance as they would with other shoes. Thus, helping to reduce fatigue, maintain a steady pace throughout the run and facilitate recovery.

Seesaw effect
One of the big differences between the R3000 and other shoes in its segment, is the arching of the sole, producing a seesaw effect that contributes significantly to the momentum and lengthening of the stride.

Development of a lighter shoe
An exclusive geometry has been developed for the sole, designed for the type of runner targeted by the R.3000. These are runners with a refined technique who land on the forefoot, therefore, the rubber has been reinforced in the tip, especially in the toe and transition lines of the foot. The reduction of rubber helps to make the shoe lighter while allowing the energy release required for R.3000's reactivity. Another important point is to ensure the traction of the outsole to the asphalt at such fast paces for which the tread pattern is special. DURABILITY rubber increases the shoe's durability.
