TSG Hoffenheim

TSG Hoffenheim is a German football club based in Hoffenheim, a village of Sinsheim municipality. In 2007, the club decided to adopt the name 1899 Hoffenheim instead of the traditional TSG Hoffenheim

In 1989, Dietmar Hopp, one of the richest men in Germany, decided to put some money into the team, a decision that changed the club forever. Since then, the team spent years slowly climbing the football ladder to reach the German elite. They currently rank eighth in the Bundesliga, and they competed in the UEFA Champions League for the first time during the 2017-18 season, finishing third.
