C.D. Burela (Femenino)
The Club Deportivo Burela Fútbol Sala was founded in 2001 and, to date, is the only club that has both its men's and women's team playing in the first Spanish futsal premier league. The women's team made its début in the 2008-2009 season and were promoted directly to the First Division the following year. Since then, they play in at the highest level and remain at the top of the futsal premier division. In addition, they have won six national championships.
