Taranto Football Club 1927
Taranto Football Club 1927, known more simply as Taranto, is an Italian football club based in the city of Taranto. It plays its home games in the Erasmo Iacovone Stadium. It plays in Serie C, the third division of the Italian football league, after winning the H round of Serie D in the 2020-2021 season.
In the course of its history it has played 32 Serie B, 43 Serie C and 13 Serie D championships and boasts victories in the 1936-1937 and 1953-1954 Serie C championships, the 1989-1990 Serie C1 and the 2000-2001 Serie C2 championships, while in the 1994-1995 season it was crowned Champion of Italy's Amateur League, winning the Scudetto Dilettanti.
From the 2021-2022 season TARANTO FOOTBALL CLUB 1927 will be part of JOMATEAM, the group of professional teams, over 300 worldwide, of which Joma is the official technical sponsor.
The first team and all the youth teams of Taranto FC will wear the material designed and developed by the Design and Development Department of Joma Sport in Spain. For Taranto FC, the agreement will guarantee visibility in the more than 115 countries in which Joma is commercially present, while for Joma, the technical sponsorship of Taranto FC will consolidate the brand's image in the territory.
