The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday (30) at the Joma headquarters in Portillo de Toledo, Spain.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a ground-breaking event for European Athletics and Joma,\u201d<\/em> commented European Athletics President Dobromir Karamarinov<\/strong>.<\/p>\n It is the first time that European Athletics have entered into a long-term top-tier partnership with a sports apparel brand, and it is also the first time that Joma have entered into such a partnership with an international athletics federation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cHowever, we at European Athletics are already very familiar with the Joma name and their products thanks to their involvement with many of our Member Federations so we are very happy to extend a warm welcome as both parties move forward with this unprecedented agreement,\u201d<\/em> added Karamarinov.<\/p>\n Joma will have the status as the sports apparel and footwear Official Partner<\/strong> and will have a significant presence at the following European Athletics events during the forthcoming four-year period.<\/p>\n As a top-tier Official Partner, Joma will benefit from extensive core marketing rights<\/strong> that include world-wide product category exclusivity, brand exposure in European Athletics’ digital and social media activities including marketing and content production as well as its communications channels, exposure on Eurovision\u2019s pan-European free-to-air broadcast coverage of the above championships as well as exposure on the European Athletics live streaming service, brand exposure on official event clothing, track perimeter LED advertising, ticketing and VIP hospitality.<\/p>\n As part of their involvement with European Athletics, Joma will also provide the official clothing at the above events<\/strong> for the European Athletics staff, Local Organising Committee staff, officials, volunteers and service partners.<\/p>\n Joma will additionally develop a customised line of clothing for European Athletics staff and Council members<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “We are very excited to announce this sponsorship agreement with European Athletics, a collaboration that strengthens our commitment to sport at an international level,”<\/em> commented Joma Sport Managing Director Marina L\u00f3pez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “At Joma, we believe in the values that athletics represents: effort, overcoming challenges, and dedication.
