Tennis player, Pablo Carre\u00f1o\u2019s sponsoring brand have paid tribute to him for his successful career. He was presented the award by Alberto L\u00f3pez, CEO of Joma.<\/h2>\n

Pablo Carre\u00f1o was emotional when he picked up the commemorative trophy that Joma awarded him for more than 10 years of sponsorship <\/strong>and his incredible professional career. The tennis player joined the JomaTeam more than a decade ago and, since then, the brand has witnessed the most significant achievements of his tennis<\/a> career so far. This last year has been particularly relevant for Carre\u00f1o<\/a> since he won bronze at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games <\/strong>and his first Masters 1000 <\/strong>in Montreal.<\/span><\/p>\n

This tribute forms part of one of Joma\u2019s initiatives in its commitment to place a value on the hard work of its outstanding athletes. For Carre\u00f1o<\/a>, the brand could not find a better time than the Gij\u00f3n Open ATP 250<\/strong>, the first tournament held by the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET)<\/a> and of which Joma is the technical sponsor. Additionally, Gij\u00f3n is the tennis player\u2019s city of birth.<\/strong> That\u2019s what made it such a special event.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presentation took place after his debut in this tournament. The local hero was playing alongside another member of the JomaTeam: Brazilian, Joao Sousa. Once the match had finished, the tribute began with the screening of a video dedicated to his professional career. Straight afterwards, Joma Sport\u2019s CEO, Albero L\u00f3pez, presented the commemorative trophy <\/strong>to an emotional Carre\u00f1o<\/a>. His surprise came when he realised that the trophy was in the shape of the trainer that he has played with since he joined the Joma family.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ultimately, on such a special occasion, the brand wanted to reward the local tennis player for his tireless hard work and dedication throughout all these years. Hard work always pays off and Carre\u00f1o has proved it with his latest unstoppable achievements.<\/span><\/p>\n

Joma at the Gij\u00f3n Open ATP 250<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In addition, it is worth highlighting that Joma, as well as being the official technical sponsor of the Gij\u00f3n Open ATP 250, also boasts a substantial presence among the participants.<\/span><\/p>\n

A total of eight Joma tennis players <\/strong>from different corners of the world are competing for a spot among the highest positions of the competition. In addition to Pablo Carre\u00f1o<\/a>, Joma is also the official sponsor of Marcell Granollers, Thiago Monteiro, Feliciano L\u00f3pez, Francisco Cer\u00fandolo, Joao Sousa, Albert Ramos and Nicol\u00e1s \u00c1lvarez Varona.
