The official STORM VIPER ACE RUN ROME THE MARATHON shoe has undergone a renovation in both design and technology. The new version has been radically changed in favor of increased stability and comfort.<\/p>\n
The ACE RUN ROME THE MARATHON is back on the streets of Rome, and so is the exclusive customized official shoe. The second edition of the official Ace Run Rome Marathon shoe is now more than ever, a tribute to Rome and especially to the country. Each shoe has different color patterns, which together and from a runner’s perspective form the flag of the Republic of Italy. The green and red colors on the outside of the shoe fade to white to create a unique composition.<\/p>\n
Its midsole is completely new and has been designed to maintain the same reactivity while increasing stability through three important modifications: the incorporation of the STABILIS SYSTEM<\/strong> in the heel, a larger base for impact entry and a wider sole.<\/p>\n The new application of the STABILIS SYSTEM is made with a strong rigid piece injected in the heel that contains the movement of the foot upon entry providing greater stability to the footstep. This rigidness will improve the athlete’s performance<\/strong> as the foot will no longer have to be secure before impact, increasing the protection of the joints to avoid injuries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Stability is reinforced with a much wider midsole and a straight heel shape increasing the base of the footstep<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The improved stability is aided by the internal toe reinforcement<\/strong>. Thus, the runner will feel the security of the new Storm Viper in all phases of the stride.<\/p>\n Another change that the runner will feel just by taking the first steps is the comfort resulting from a renewed upper-part<\/strong> with more flexibility and more VTS<\/strong> breathability; the fastening of the tongue with two elastic bands keeping it in place during the race; and the reduction of rubber in the sole that has been limited to areas where there is real contact with the ground, lightening the weight of this part, and maintaining the application of DURABILITY<\/strong> technology of low abrasion extending the life of the shoe.<\/p>\n The Storm Viper is a shoe aimed at runners with a pace above four seconds, in training sessions of 4 to 6 days for middle and long distance competitions.
