On Sunday, November 14, the twentieth edition of the Movistar Half Marathon of Madrid was held with a new course.<\/p>\n

There were 17,000 people who participated in this edition, starting at Castellana area and finishing the race at Paseo de Recoletos, passing through some of the most emblematic areas of the city. In men’s category, 7 runners reached the finish line almost at the same time and in women’s category, five women beat the previous year’s record. <\/p>\n

The ProFuturo Race was also held, with 2,000 participants. Being one of the best-known solidarity races. This year it raised more than 19.000 euros, which will be donated to the digital education program of Fundación Telefónica and Fundación “la Caixa”, which helps to close the educational gap in 40 countries. <\/p>\n

Joma, as sponsor, had a large presence installing a stand where runners could get their race technical t-shirts and pick up the specially designed shoe for the event, as well as getting to know the brand’s complete running collection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
