Joma strengthens its Brand Image in 2013
The external consulting company Sport Panel, has published its annual report of sports brands by product lines. It summarizes the opinion of retailers and buying groups.
One year more, one of the Sport sector´s most prestigious consulting companies in Spain has published the ranking of Brand Image in the Spanish sports sector and once again Joma continues in third place in global Brand Image of companies in the national sector, only surpassed by the two giants in this sector. Also, the Spanish Brand has recovered leadership in the Uniforms category. In the Global Image, Joma is in third place and the top Spanish Brand with a great distance between its national competitors. This figure is very important, as Joma has only been surpassed by Adidas and Nike, based on its multi-products portfolio. Concentrating on the Brand Image by families of products, Joma is leader in the ranking for Uniforms. In 2013 it has jumped a position and strengthens its predominance in the market, especially for soccer uniforms, although its production for other sports such as basket and volley ball have also contributed to this success. In the Global Image of Sport Shoes, Joma is in fourth place. This is a one-place increase as compared to 2012, replacing Reebok, in a sub-sector that includes 30 different categories. Leader in Uniforms, Joma is third in Textile Global Brand 2013, a position it has retained for years, which confirms its growth in this Division. Finally, one of the most important details is the fourth place in ranking of Brands with the best perspectives, going up one place as compared to last year and in spite of the present economic context. The Company interprets the results as very positive. The effort and investment carried out during the last year are reflected in the figures published by Sport Panel, which exclusively cover the Spanish market.
