Europe wins the Cross country race in Edinburgh with Joma

The team of the best athletes on the continent beat the UK and the USA
The combined team of European athletes have won the Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross after getting 154 points, less than the UK team, second with 175 and third was the USA with 201.
The Spaniard Ayad Lamdassem came second in the senior mens 8km race with a time of 24:28 minutes, a second behind the winner, the US captain Bobby Mack. In third place was Andy Vermont with a time of 24:29 minutes.
After the race Lamdassem said I hope to run in the Rotterdam marathon? wanting to finish with a good time after the stumble in Otsu (Japan) last year where he made his debut in 42.195 meters with a time of 02:14:39h.
The other Spaniard that took part, Carles Castillejo, finished sixth and said he was happy with the race because he stayed with the leading pack nearly to the end, on ahard and very muddy course that did not favor me.
